It is a matter of great pleasure as well as pride for the DAV family Hazaribag as Nachiketa Naresh Pandey of Class VII bagged 2^nd position in the competition “VAIGYANIKA- 2014” at National level in sub junior group which was held in S.R .D.A.V Public School, New Delhi on 22^nd January, 2015. He was felicitated with a Certificate, a Trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- by Shri N. K. Uberoi, Vice President DAV CMC, New Delhi. This competition was held under the aegis of DAV CMC New, Delhi

The Principal of the school Shri Ashok Kumar informed that this award was given to Nachiketa as a distinguished science scholar as he displayed his acumen in innovative experimentation and application of scientific principles in hands on activities conducted in Vaigyanika-2014 National Level Competition. It was held in 2 phases. In 1^st round all over India our students Aditya Vats of class VI (1^st), Nachiketa Naresh Pandey of Class VII (2^nd), Prashant Kumar Jha of class X (2^nd) and Nishant Kumar of Class VII (3^rd) were awarded with trophies and the cash prizes  of Rs. 1000, 750 and 500 for the positions 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd respectively. They have prepared for this competition under the able guidance of Mr. Tapan Kr.  Panda, the teacher for Physics and Mr. Ajit Sharma, the teacher for Biology in the school.

The Principal congratulated Nachiketa, the child prodigy and other members and said that the academic career of former has always been praiseworthy and he wished all success in his life.
