Report on GANIT (Growing Aptitude in Numerical Innovation & Training) Week:
GANIT week was celebrated as per suggested by CBSE Circular Number:Acad-47/2014 Dt.08.12.14 from 16.12.2014 to 22.12.14. Under it the following activities like Essay Writing Competition, Quiz Competition and Experience Sharing on Innovation by the teachers and students.
The teachers and students have successfully come to the common juncture that innovation is higher in understanding the teaching and learning of the Maths as a subject and also as a technique.
The results are:
Event 1: Essay writing competition (17.12.14 about 35 students appeared).
Result:

Event 2: Quiz Competition (18.12.14)
Winner team A : Students from section X - A,B,C, D,
Runner Team B: Students from section X- E, F ,G and Class IX Students.
Event 3: Experience sharing on innovation by teachers and students (19.12.14)
Teachers: Mr. C.D. Singh, Mr. V. Vishwakarma. Mr. Vishwanath Kumar, Mr. Ashim Prakash, Mr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Mr. Surendra Kumar, Mr. Basudeo Prasad.
Students: Rohit Kumar, Riya Bhardwaj, Prashant Jha, Ritik Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Shashank Shekhar, Swati Sandeep, Akash Kumar, Navaneet Kumar, Nicky Kumari and Aniket Ranjan etc.
Results were announced and students were appreciated. The active and wiling participation of the students was observed. It was unanimously decided by all teachers to focus on written practice, activity based problems, revision of application & HOTS problems and practice of the CBSE sample papers. It was indeed a great initiative taken by CBSE to create awareness among students in Maths.
