The Principal, Shri Ashok Kumar welcomed the Chief Guest, the Distinguished Guest, the Regional Director Hazaribag Zone, the dignitaries present, parents and students present on the occasion and said that it was indeed a great occasion for the school. He gave credit to the parents, devoted teaching & non-teaching staff and well-wishers for major milestones achieved by the students. In his annual speech he said that the prospective plan to make this school as one of the ten best schools in the nation. The management is committed to keep pace with technology in the 21st century. To make each and every member of the school an IT savvy the facilities like E-beam system, OMR system, Internet Connection, Online test, well equipped Computer labs for senior as well as junior students are available. Through the website the school always remains in communication with the parents and the world. Further, he apprised the parents of the latest achievements of the performance of students in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas.
The Assistant Regional Director Hazaribag Zone, Mrs Urmila Singh had a high praise for the children who presented the mesmerizing songs and dance items.She encouraged the children by saying that they must try their best to be a good citizen who can take care of the duties at individual level as well as at social level to make the nation great.
The Chief Guest Shri Parnav Mukharjee , the International Quiz Master said that DAV Institutions have been imparting quality education in the society and making it affordable to all. Addressing the students he said one should never be proud of the success for the academic and material successes because in real life we need the positive qualities also for the happiness. So, one must strive his/her best to develop the personality. He called upon the students to try and make the sublime message of the Bhagwat Gita of focusing only on action without any consideration for the result of the action. He said that the result is inherent in the action itself.
On this occasion the Teams of Basketball (Boys & Girls), Handball(Boys & Girls) and Cricket were felicitated for their exemplary performance. Some of the alumni like Kshitij Anant, Mihir and Stefy were felicitated for the laurels for the school earned by them. Under cultural fiesta the programme like Group Dannce (Papa Mere Papa), Group dance (Rhymes Based), Nagpuri Dance, Group Dance (Unity in Diversity), Mime Show, Group Dance(India Wale), Fashion Show), Quawali, Swadesh Act-cum-Dance, Group Kathak, Hindi Skit (Badalte Rishte), Western Dance, Solo Dance by Aporva, Mera Naam Joker, Group dance by Class XII Students, Cinema Kal Aaj Aur Kal were presented by the children.
On this occasion besides more than parents and guardians, the dignitaries included Shri Ranjan Kumar Jain, Dr. Abhay Kumar (VBU Hazaribag), Shri Arvind Pratap Singh (Member LMC DAV Hazaribag),Shri Yamuna Yadav, Shri Arjun Yadav, Shri kamla Prasad.
The whole programme was anchored by the students like Anvita Priyam, Aditi, Shristi Kumari, Harshita and Tathagat under the guidance of the teachers like Mr. Krishna Kumar and Mrs. Kiran Mishra.The program concluded with Shanti Path.
