It was indeed a great occasion for the students of DAV Public School, Hazaribag when they witnessed their dynamic Principal being felicitated by His Excellency The President of India on the television screen

and a group of teachers being felicitated by the Chief Guest Prof. R. N. Jha (Retd. VBU,H. Bag) and the Distinguished Guest Prof. Shiv Dayal Singh (Ex. Principal Markham College of commerce, H. Bag) in the premises of the school. These teachers were felicitated with the certificates issued by Hon’ble Smriti Irani, MHRD, Govt. of India .Their felicitation was for their stellar performance of the students in the secondary school Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education. The fortunate teachers were Mr. Ashwini Kumar, Mr. Ramesh Kumar Singh, Mr.Baldeo Pandey, Mrs. Kiran Mishra, Mrs. Sushila Karn, Mr. Tapan Panda, Mr. Umesh NAth Pandey, Mr. Tarun Ashok Jain, Mr. Dhiraj Kr. Gupta, Mr. N. N. Pandey, Mr. N. K. Mishra, Mr. V. Vishwakarma, Mrs. Pratibha  Srivastava and Mr. Ray Rakesh.

The Chief Guest Prof. R. N. Jha said that a teacher never retires in the society. His/Her services are always available for the common people so long he/she lives. The society has a lot of expectation from them.

The Distinguished Guest Shri Shiv Dayal Singh said that a teacher plays the most critical role in influencing the minds and personalities of young minds enabling them to discover their talents and preparing them to succeed in any challenge they undertake.

Shri B. D. Shastri, proposed the vote of thanks. On this occasion the children presented speech, dance, skit and a group song.
