The birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Birsa Munda and selfless Karmayogi Narayan Das Grover was celebrated at DAV Public School Hazaribag. After the special Havan organized on this occasion, the Principal of the school Ashok Kumar said that Lord Birsa had emerged as the pioneer of renaissance in the Jharkhand region. While fighting for water, forest and land to protect the Vanvasi culture through Ulgulan, he fought for tribal identity, he also  fought against British tyranny and tax hike against the British rule. After bring arrested , Birsa Munda was kept in Hazaribagh Central Jail for two years and then in Ranchi Jail.

 Karmayogi Grover, who opened more than two hundred schools in DAV Sansthan, made Birsa's birthplace Khunti his workplace and provided eye-care facilities to thousands of tribals and provided them with new eyesight. Born in Isakhel village of undivided India's Punjab province, Grover had inscribed a line on his hand like 'My life is for a peg'. Present on the occasion, as the chief  Guest was Manish Sinha Ex. Director I.O.L Kolkata . Addressing the children, former Kolkata director Manish Sinha said that they  should take a vow to serve the country from Birsa Munda and serving the  humanity from Grover Saheb.  The other dignitaries present on the occasion included Dr. Bipin Kumar, VBU, Hazaribag,  Principal of Hindu High School, Ramesh Kumar Singh, Principal of Oasis, Ehsanul Haque and others.The  former teachers Ramesh Kumar Singh,  Pushpa Tiwari and Suresh Sah were felicitated with shawls as special guests in the programme.  Mrs. Sampa Srivastava Supervisory Head,  Kiran Mishra,  Baldev Pandey, Manoj Khandelwal and Honeyi  Chandra played an important role in coordinating the programme. The Vice Chairman  of Local Managing Committee  Dinesh Khandelwal proposed the vote of thanks.

 डीएवी पब्लिक स्कूल में धरती आबा बिरसा मुंडा एवं निष्काम कर्मयोगी नारायण दास ग्रोवर की जयंती मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर आयोजित विशेष हवन के बाद प्रचार्य अशोक कुमार ने कहा कि भगवान बिरसा झारखंड क्षेत्र में नवजागरण के अग्रदूत बनकर उभरे थे। उन्होंने उलगुलान के माध्यम से जहाँ वनवासी संस्कृति की रक्षा के लिए जल, जंगल और जमीन के लिए संघर्ष करते हुए आदिवासी अस्मिता की लड़ाई लड़ी वहीं अंग्रेजों के अत्याचार एवं टैक्स वृद्धि के खिलाफ अंग्रेजी हुकूमत से लोहा लिया। बिरसा मुंडा को गिरफ्तार करते हुए दो साल तक केंद्रीय कारागार हजारीबाग और उसके बाद राँची जेल में रखा गया। डीएवी संस्थान में दो सौ से भी अधिक स्कूल खोलने वाले कर्मयोगी ग्रोवर साहब ने बिरसा की जन्मभूमि खुँटी को अपना कर्मक्षेत्र बनाया और हजारों आदिवासियों को नेत्र-चिकित्सा की सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाते हुए उन्हें नयी नेत्र-ज्योति प्रदान की। अविभाजित भारत के पंजाब प्रांत के इसाखेल गाँव  में जनमें ग्रोवर साहब ने अपने हाथ पर 'मेरा जीवन खुँटी के लिए है' जैसी पंक्ति लिखवाई थी। इस अवसर पर बतौर मुख्य यजमान उपस्थित आई. ओ. एल. कोलकाता के पूर्व निदेशक मनीष सिन्हा ने बच्चों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आप बिरसा मुंडा से देश सेवा एवं ग्रोवर साहब से मानवता की सेवा का व्रत लें। कार्यक्रम में बतौर विशिष्ट अतिथि डा. बिपिन कुमार, हिंदू हाई स्कूल के प्राचार्य रमेश कुमार सिंह, ओएसिस के प्राचार्य एहसानुल हक, पूर्व शिक्षिका पुष्पा तिवारी एवं सुरेश साह को शाल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के संयोजन में शिक्षक बलदेव पांडेय, संपा श्रीवास्तव, किरण मिश्रामनोज खंडेलवाल एवं हन्नी चंद्रा की महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही। एल.एम. सी के वाइस चेयरमैन दिनेश खंडेलवाल ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया।
