The Teachers' Day was celebrated  in DAV Public school,Hazaribag with great enthusiasm .The function began with the  lighting of inaugural lamp by the Chief  Guest Shri  P.S.Bains,  IG BSF Meru,  Dr. Ramesh Kumar , Shri HK Pathak  Commandant  BSF  the Principal of the school Shri Ashok Kumar & others  followed by floral tribute to the portrait of Dr.Radha krishnan. The Principal welcomed all and also remembered N.D.Grover whom he always pays his respect as ideal teacher. In his address to all teachers ,he said that teachers

 deserve high appreciation as they prove  their mettle every  year by preparing the students for the challenges  of real life.

The Chief Guest on the occasion      Shri P S Bains  while addressing the teachers  said that society is proud of DAV organisation as its hallmark is quality education.  The teachers are good guides, friends,  counselors and leaders . He expressed his respect  for the teachers who always shape and groom  the children.  The teachers must be ready to update themselves  with the changing  time then only appropriate  guidance   to children  can be ascertained. On this occasion all teachers were felicitated  .To entertain the audience,  children presented Gamesh Vandana and  Solo dance. The Head Girl proposed the vote of thanks.The programme was anchored by students namely Arya and Ananya with the teacher Ananya Mukhopadhyay.
