DAV National Sports (Cluster Level) Handball Tournament 2014 was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri Ranjan Kr. Jain and the distinguished Guest Shri Raj Kumar Prasad Singh, District Education Officer, Hazaribag.

The Principal welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries, teachers and students from DAV Chatra, Gandhinagar, Ara Kuju, Barkakana, Bharechnagar, DAV Hazaribag and said that games & sports are equally important for alround development of students. They must play with true sportsmanship spirit. The Chief Guest said loosing & winning doesn’t matter. What matters the most is the willing participation of the participants. So they must join the tournament very happily taking the occasion as a very good opportunity for them.

Shri Raj Kumar Prasad Singh, D.E.O. Hazaribag had a high praise for DAV family for organizing such a kind of tournament which offer the students an opportunity to exhibit their talent in games & sports. All children have some hidden talents and this is the best opportunity for sports lovers to show their talents.

Prof. Vikash Kr. Singh (VBU) also encouraged the participants to play & enjoy the tournament in such kind of conducive environment as well as the place also. The sports deputy captain Master Sourav Kumar of std. XI conducted the Oath taking ceremony for participating teams.
