The students of DAV Hazaribagh have again created history by achieving a big feat. In a quiz organized by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) in Delhi to interview and arouse interest in Indian art, culture and history, the team of DAV Hazaribagh won the second position and won the runner-up title. About 1600 schools across the country participated in this quiz from district level to national level competition. It is to be noted that only those teams were invited for the District to State and State to National rounds who secured first position in each round. In this National Round quiz, 21 states of the country like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Bihar, NCR, Jharkhand and North Participants from the states of the East participated. In this prestigious quiz competition, the team from Banaras, UP was declared the winner with 75 marks while the team from DAV Hazaribagh, Jharkhand was declared the runner up with 70 marks. The quiz team of DAV was represented by Mr. Hardik and Shubham. Congratulating the children on this success, the Principal of the school Mr. Ashok Kumar said that quiz instills in us the urge to learn and it is a matter of continuous practice. He asked the children to prepare for it daily with time planning. Mr. Kumar attributed this achievement to the hard work of the children and the dedication of the mentor teachers.
