Maintaining its tradition, the quiz team of DAV Hazaribagh has once again qualified for the regional round of Heritage Quiz of CBSE. CBSE schools from the states of Bihar and Jharkhand participated in the quiz organized by CBSE, out of which only 30 schools have been selected for the regional level quiz. Mr. Hardik, Shubham Kumar and Soni Kumari were the participants in this quiz team of DAV. Addressing the students, DAV Principal Mr. Ashok Kumar said that it is a matter of pleasure that our team has also qualified for the second stage of CBSE Heritage. Encouraging the enthusiasm of the children, he said that the DAV team has gone to the national level CBSE Heritage Quiz seven times in the past and has participated five times in the national level INTACH Heritage Quiz. We have to maintain this tradition. The principal has given the credit of this achievement to the hard work of the students and the proper guidance of the mentor teachers. It may be noted that this quiz team of DAV has recently qualified for the regional level in the Know India quiz competition. J.K.Kapoor Chairman, J.P.Shoor Director, Jharkhand Zone D's RO Smt. Urmila Singh, Vice Chairman of the school Mr. Dinesh Khandelwal and Manager Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra expressed happiness over this grand success and wished them all the best for the regional level quiz competition to be held in Patna on 10th December. DAV and Angel High School from Hazaribagh have been selected for this second round of quiz.
