DAV Public School Hazaribagh created history by winning the overall championship trophy for the consecutive 21 years in a row in a cluster level sports competition organized under the aegis of DAV National Sports.The school also stood overall runners up in Athletics. The School Principal Ashok Kumar described this stupendous victory as a gift given by the winning team to the entire school family on the occasion of Diwali. With this victory, there is an atmosphere of celebration in the school. The Principal said that in this competition, a total of 18 schools of Jharkhand Zone D participated in the boys and girls category. Various sports including Basketball, Handball, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton, Karate, Wushu, Yoga, Skating, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Football, Cricket, Judo, Volleyball, Archery and Athletics in various schools of DAV from twenty to twenty-two and Organized in the girls' category, DAV Hazaribagh became the champion scoring the highest 155 points. AR O Dr. Urmila Singh and Chief Guest P.N. Yadav, GM Rajrappa presented trophies to the winning players. In this inter-school competition, among DAV group's Chatra, Tandwa, Barhi, Hazaribagh, Arakuzu, Kedla, Ghatotand, Topa, Urimari, Giddi, Bharechnagar, Tapin North, Barkakana, Koderma, The girls and boys teams of Bachra, Patratu and Rajrappa participated. J.K.Kapoor Chairman of the school, J.P. Shoor, Director of the school, Dr.Urmila Singh ARO, Manoj Mishra Manager, Dinesh Khandelwal Vice -Chairman , and all members of Local Managing Committe congratulated saying that undoubtedly the performance of students reflect the equal attention on scholastic as well as co scholastic activities under the able guidance of the Principal. Indeed it is a great achievement.
हजारीबाग। डीएवी पब्लिक स्कूल हजारीबाग ने डीएवी नेशनल स्पोर्ट्स के तत्त्वावधान में आयोजित संकुल स्तरीय खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता में लगातार इक्कीसवीं बार ओवरआल चैंपियनशिप की ट्राफी जीतते हुए इतिहास रचा। डीएवी हजारीबाग को गेम्स और स्पोर्ट्स के ओवरआल चैपीयनशिप और एथलेटिक्स मे ओवरआल रनर्स अप प्राप्त हुआ। स्कूल के प्राचार्य अशोक कुमार ने इस शानदार जीत को विजेता टीम की ओर से समस्त विद्यालय परिवार को दीपावली के अवसर पर दिया जाने वाला उपहार बताया। इस जीत से स्कूल में जश्न का माहौल है। प्राचार्य ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड जोन डी के कुल सत्रह स्कूलों ने बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग में भाग लिया था। डीएवी के विभिन्न स्कूलों में बीस से लेकर बाइस तारीख तक बास्केटबॉल, हैंडबॉल, शतरंज, टेबल टनिस, बैडमिंटन, कराटे, वुशू, योग, स्केटिंग, ताइक्वांडो, कुश्ती, फुटबॉल, क्रिकेट, जुडो, वालीबॉल, तिरंदाजी एवं एथलेटिक्स सहित कई खेल बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग में आयोजित किए गए जिसमें डीएवी हजारीबाग ने सर्वाधिक 155 अंक अर्जित करते हुए चैंपियन हुआ। डीएवी रजरप्पा में आयोजित समापन समारोह में एआर ओ डा उर्मिला सिंह एवं मुख्य अतिथि पी.एन. यादव,जीएम रजरप्पा ने विजेता खिलाड़ियों को ट्राफी प्रदान किया। इस इंटर-स्कूल प्रतियोगिता मे डीएवी समूह चतरा ,टंडवा,बरही ,हजारीबाग,आराकुजू, केदला, घाटोटाँड़, तोपा, उरीमारी, गिद्दी, भरेचनगर, तापिन नार्थ,बरकाकाना, कोडरमा, बचरा, पतरातू एवं रजरप्पा की बालिका एवं बालक वर्ग की टीम ने भाग लिया।प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन में खेल शिक्षक सी. दास., मृत्युंजय विष्णोई, अरुणा दिव्यदर्शनी, शकील खान की महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही। स्कूल के प्राचार्य ने सभी विजेता एवं उप विजेता टीमों को बधाई देते हुए उन्हें जोनल स्तर पर जोरदार प्रदर्शन के लिए उत्साहवर्धन किया।
