The  Financial Awareness camp was organized at DAV PS Hazaribagh by Banking Lokpal Office of Reserve Bank of India. The Principal Shri Ashok Kumar welcomed the dignitaries and the students of std. XI and XII and said that it is very necessary for the students to be aware of banking system, role of banks and facilities being offered by banks for the common people.

Shri Ajay Nandan, Manager Lokpal RBI Ranchi in his address to the students, said that Banking Lokpal Scheme, 2016 was started for facilities of all account holders. It is totally free. If the customers have any grudge or complaints and the same would be solved immediately. He focused on problems that he common people have been suffering from. The account holders can lodge their complaints either through on line system or hand to hand mode. Making the children aware of the cyber crimes, he suggested the children that they must not attend the fake calls in any case. Information regarding ATM cards should never be shared with any other in any case.

B.L. Soren, Manager RBI Ranchi, Ramesh Behra ZDM, BOI, Saketpuri also addressed  the students. The programme was coordinated by KK Singh and Ashwini Kumar proposed the vote of thanks and finally the programme concluded with distribution of pamphlets containing banking guidelines for customers among the students.
