With absolute elation in my heart this is to share with you that due recognition was acorded to us by the District Administration, Hazaribag for taking time out of our normal schedule and rendering teaching services to the students of the Backward Girl’s Residential School While felicitating me at our school ,Hon’ble Shri Ravi Shankar Shukla, IAS, D.C., Hazaribag appreciated us for ever willing services to the noble cause of teaching the students of Backward Girl’s Residential School Hazaribag. This felicitation has encouraged us to better our best and make the most of the opportunity given to us by Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner, Hazaribag.
I sincerely extend my deepest gratitude to Hon’ble Mrs. Himani Pandey, IAS, Secretary, Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand and the District Welfare Officer for exuding confidence in us and entrusting us with such a pious task of specially imparting need based coaching to the students of these schools.
However, rendering selfless services for the cause of education to such children is not a new thing.I was brought up in a family whose every member was engaged in some social work or the other - with my father remaining an active freedom fighter. He always believed that the best service to God is the service to mankind. My childhood memory is still afresh when I used to see my father involved in the work meant for the upliftment of the underprivileged strata of society. When I was in school, I would religiously visit the Harizan toli of my village and selflessly coach the children of socially outcast people, without thinking of what consequences it might have.
After my schooling and college I got the opportunity to join DAV organization as a teacher at Rajrappa where I was fortunate to get the able guidance of Mahatma N.D. Grover, a social reformer , educationist and philanthropist. His dedication and selfless service motivated many of us. Here at Hazaribag our school has always been a forerunner in such social work trying its level best to do the utmost.
The task of teaching the students of the Backward Girl’s Residential School assigned to us by the District Administration, Hazaribag, was taken very positively by all faculty members. They came forward to teach the students willingly without thinking of any appreciation or reward and guided the students after the school time mostly during holidays.
With your good wishes, hoping more appreciation coming our ways.
