The Sahodaya Inter School Quiz, Debate & Basketball Tournament was conducted successfully It was inaugurated jointly by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar, H.O.D. English, VBU Hazaribag, Prof. Abhay Kumar Sinha Dept. of Geography VBU Hazaribag, Prof. Suklyan Moitra Dept.of Political Science, VBU Hazaribag, Mr. Satwant Bagga, Zonal Manager, Pune based Pharmaceutical Company .In Debate competition, DAV Hazaribag emerged as winner whereas Angel High School became    the Runners-Up. Shreya Prasoon and Sweksha Mishra represented the school. Soumya Sarthi from Vivekanand School and Salsa Parween from Holy Cross School were declared as the best speakers. The topic for debate was "Artificial Intelligence can replace human intelligence. In Quiz competition DAV Hazaribag was declared as winner whereas Holy Cross became the Runners -up. Sidharth, Yashraj & Rainy Koushal represented the school in Quiz Competition. Similarly, in Basketball Tournament, DAV Hazaribag notched the Championship Trophy  in girls group and St. Xaviers notched the championship trophy in Boys group. Jyoti and Aman both were adjudged as the best players in the Basketball tournament. The Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Kumar said in his address that these types of activities are very much helpful in the all round development of the students.Prof.(Dr.) Abhay Kumar Sinha in his speech put emphasis on the various aspects of skill of good debating.
