The Canary Hill Road from DAV Public School to S.P. Kothi remained resounded for more than two hours  with the slogans like “Pahale Matdan Phir Koi Kaam”, “Dalo Vote Booth Par Jayen”, “Loktantra Ka Parv Manaye” ,” Vote Dalne Jana Hai , Apna Farz Nibhana Hai”. More than 2000 students of DAV Public School, Hazaribag had formed a human chain under the aegis of Voters Awareness Campaign started by the district administration, Hazaribag. The students who were carrying the pla cards included: Abhishek Kumar Singh, Katayan Kaushik, Nayan , Diwakar, Shubham, Priyanshu, Anupam, Paritosh, Tathagat, Mayank etc. The NCC cadets of the school were also there to assist the students in forming the human chain with the teachers like Mr. N.S. Sah, Mr. Ashwini Kumar (SVEEP Co-ordinator) , Mr. K.K. Singh (ANO), Mr. N.K. Mishra, Mrs. Aruna Priyadarshini, Mr. Kunal Goswami, Mr. B.K. panda & Mrs. Ananya. The students like Gopal, Paljeet and others attracted the passers by beating the Drum and appealed them to cast their vote on the day of election.

The school had also organized a Quiz Contest(21^ST Nov), a Painting Competition (26^th Nov.), a Poetry Writing(Hindi) Competition(28^th Nov.) under voters awareness campaign. Besides these, Snkalp Patras were distributed among students to be filled by their parents or guardians. A talk on importance of Vote was also held in the morning assembly.
