Dear alumni, friends, members of LMC n Parents,
I feel extremely elated to share that Utkarsh Kumar, our alumnus has made us all proud by scoring 55th AIR in the most prestigious UPSC Exam 2021 in the recently released result.The whole DAV organization feels delighted on the success of Utkarsh. He was a regular student of our school for 12 years who was not only brilliant in academics but was a position holder in all types of olympiads and quizzes. He had a very clear insight from the very beginning that he was going to qualify UPSC and would be at the top ranks. After 12th he went to Kota for preparation for engineering. He created history by standing at the 5th position through out the nation. He then got admitted in IIT Mumbai and pursued Computer Science. After completing his B. Tech he got a package of about 22 Lakhs per annum, but his goal was to crack UPSC. For which he quit his job and started preparation for UPSC with full enthusiasm. Last year also he qualified Pre and Mains in UPSC Examination but with a very minor difference he could not qualify the interview. This year he worked with more determination and more efforts. He visited the school for about 12 times and had long discussion with me on many important topics. His hard work bore sweet fruit and he was able to hit the bulls eye. It is indeed a historical moment for everyone. He has again created history by placing himself in the top positions in UPSC 2021.
