DAV Hazaribag once again created history with its students coming victorious in the recently declared NTSE result. As many As five students qualified the first phase and paved their way to the second round of the test which will be held in the month of June. This is one of the greatest achievements in the history of the school.The students who have qualified for the second phase are Himanshu Gaurav, Aditya Vats,Shristi Prasad,Kumar Gunjan & Kumar Satyam.NTSE is a nationwide talent hunt   National Science Talent Search Scheme (NSTSS) started  in the year 1963 to provide identification to talented students and to award them with scholarships. It is not a meagre achievement to qualify such a tough examination. The Principal of the school Shri Ashok Kumar congratulated the performers and said that honest efforts,perseverance,proper guidance with advanced planning have reflected in the form of amazing results.These students have never taken any private coaching or tuitions.Constant tests of verbal, non verbal,reasoning aptitude,logical reasoning and a set of scholastic questions on major subjects like Maths,Science& English under the able guidance of hard working teachers prepared the students to crack this difficult competition.Thanking the school faculty,he said that really it is matter of self satisfaction that their joint efforts not only earned laurels but also gave a proper path of brilliant career opportunities to the talents.The Incharge of the NTSE Committee for the school.Mr.Ashim Prakash Sinha also expressed his happiness on the success of these students. Earlier in 2014 two students of the school had qualified for the second phase. This should be noted that the students who pass the second phase are awarded  scholarship for pursuing courses in science and social science up to doctoral level and in professional courses like medicine and engineering up to second-degree level .The whole school management is overwhelmed with this superb performance of the students.
