DAV Public School, Hazaribag has proved its excellence once again by adding one more feather to the crown of fame in 4th Edition of SHABD- a National Level Inter School Convergence meet, organized by DPS,Bokaro on 9th & 10th April 2018. In this competition the magniloquence of Tathagat Kaushik, Shreeya Prasoon and Shivankar Sahay helped them secure 2nd position in Multi-format SAARC Debates ; whereas the promptness, awareness and intelligence of Siddharth Kumar ,Aniket Kumar and Sanat Kishore were judged third in Nachiketa Queries, The Inter school General Quiz Competition. Besides, Anshika Raj,Tathaagat Kaushik and Shivankar Sahay left no stone unturned in expressing their wisdom of BHASA in Inter School English Experimental short Play Enactment and that ultimately helped them bagging 3rd position in it. Our school left its footprint also in another category that was Open classroom (Writing Event) in which Fatima’s excellent translation and illustration skill helped her secure 1st position along with the trophy of overall championship in the same category.
Most of the schools having national repute like Mayo College Ajmer, G. D. Birla School Pune, DPS Gaya, DPS Ranchi, DAV PS Sector-IV Bokaro etc took part in this convergence meet. Hon’ble Dr. (Mrs.) Hemlata S Mohan congratulated our school for displaying the dazzling performance.
