A Skit Competition under the aegis of Sahodaya Schools Complex Hazaribagh, was held in St. Xavier School, Hazaribagh in which the students of DAV PS Hazaribagh bagged the first prize, whereas the students of St. Xavier bagged the 2nd prize. The topic for this Inter School Skit Competition was the “Communal harmony and Legal Rights” . The students of DAV PS presented the feeling of social unity and brotherhood through the skit- “Gafur Chacha Ka Bagicha “. Ayaj of Gafur Chacha, Rudra Prakash of Tiwari and Fatima Jhohra played the major roles of Sakina in the skit. The other student artists were Aditya Raj, Shubojit Sarkar, Aprajita, Mahwish, Aditi and Anjali . The Senior Teacher Mr. Baldev Pandey and Mrs. Bhasha Mishra took the leading role in preparing the children for this competition. The renowned personalities of the town namely Mr. Tapash Chakrawarti Ajeet Banarjee and Mrs.Manju Shri were the judges. The Principal of St. Xavier School who also happens to be the secretary of Sahodaya Schools Complex Hazaribagh felicitated the children by giving them the championship trophy. The students of Jack and Jill, Angel High School, Mt. Litera, DAV Barhi and of other schools participated in this competition. Shri Ashok Kumar, Principal, DAV PS Hzb –cum- President Sahodaya Schools Complex Hazaribagh congratulated the children for their mesmerizing performance and said that they would be felicitated on the occasion of Children’s Day.
