Kamalika Samanta an alumna of DAV Public School, Plus Two Batch of PCB stream, 2012 has earned fame for her alma mater by getting selected for MS and Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee Health Science Centre. After her XII with excellent marks, Kamalika went to BIT MESRA where she pursued pharmaceutical Science. Much to the credit of her base at the school level, She performed superbly in the much sought after institute BIT MESRA. She exhibited her sharp intellect and extraordinary brilliance during her study period and got some research oriented approach through the faculty there that further helped her intrigue herself to take GRE and TOEFL publishing her own article. She would do her MS and PhD from the university that enjoys 17th rank across the USA. Studying abroad is no doubt an expensive affair. But Kamalika has performed so well that she has been put on the list of the meritorious research scholars who would carry out the research on full scholarship. It is the matter of great pride for the school and DAV family congratulates her and wishes her all the best.
She is one of the 50 alumni who performed strikingly by displaying dazzling strength and laudable merit. The School feels proud by felicitating her and encouraging her to perform extraordinarily in the area of the treatment of cancer, so far an invincible disease. We are glad to learn that she will join the university as a graduate teaching assistant.
