Tathagat Kaushik of DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, Hazaribag was adjudged as the Best Debater in the prestigious CONFLUENCES - 2017, National Inter School Debate, Quiz, Spell Bee and Creative Writing Competition held at St. Michael’s School, Siliguri on 2nd & 3rd November 2017. In this competition all together 18 top schools from all across the nation had participated. In the same competition, the Quiz team secured the 4th position in the finals. The participants were Aniket Kumar, Siddharth Kumar and Sanat Kishore. Hamza Khan was congratulated for his outstanding performance in Spell Bee & Creative writing competition. It may be noted here that Tathagat Kaushik has won this award for the 4th consecutive year.

The principal congratulated and felicitated the participants for their brilliant performance in this national level competition. He also congratulated the teacher Incharges namely Tanisha Srivastava, Ratandeep Sharma and others for their right initiative in preparing the students for this competition.
